Section B Practice 9

Set A
I would choose to be a policeman because I want to be like my father.  He is also a policeman.  The job of a policeman is to maintain law and order and handle criminals and emergencies. I find this job very interesting.  If I am a policeman, I need to be strong, discipline and brave.  The training is carried out locally. I do not need to go overseas so I will not burden my father to pay for my training.

Set B
I would choose to be a policeman because I want to emulate my father who is also a policeman.  He is my role model.  I am inspired by his dedication for he is very discipline and brave in the line of his duty.  His strong character is the pillar of our family. He always tries to maintain law and order and everyone in my neighbourhood looks up to him.  Besides, I want to look smart like my father especially when he is in his uniform.  I can receive training in a police academy in Malaysia.  Therefore, I can be near my family and visit them on weekends.  Being a policeman is a noble profession.
